Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports at the age of 14. She studied boxing, kickboxing and wrestling prior to making her debut appearance as an amateur at WCFC in front of Jaimee Nievera. Ladd then went on to beat three times consecutively at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of the opponents she defeated had been defeated in the first five minutes. Then, she went back to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen won against Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia gave Aspen the win in a single-handed manner and outclassed her to tarnish Ladd's amateur career. Ladd recovered from this loss to defeat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight one. Aspen began her professional career in 2015 after signing to Invicta FC. InvictaFC 11 was her debut professional bout. Aspen dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing the 1st-round TKO. Invicta 16, she was able to move from Bantamweight to the fight against Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen utilized her expertise in wrestling to knock out McGill via TKO in the third round (elbows & punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) in the weight of a "catchweight"(138.1lb), because Ladd failed to make weight. Aspen, however, beat Hoy through TKO. At Invicta FC21, she was the final match with the company. Invicta FC21, she defeated Sijara Banks by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She outclassed Lina with a pound and grind to her, winning the TKO in second round. Ladd remained in the lead, and won another victory over Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd stopped Evinger's fight after the first round. She also received an extra bonus for her performance that night. Ladd fought in her debut big fight in her debut fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Ladd's win was a majority decision as well as her Fight of the Night award was awarded to each fighter. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie was able to finish the fight in just 16 seconds and end Ladd and her streak. She bounced back and finished Yana Kunitskaya after the third round in UFC at ESPN 7. In a match that was a replacement for UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. It was a loss by majority decision.
