Scarlett Johansson is an American actress and performer born in NYC New York on November 22 in 1984. Her acting has earned her acclaim across a wide range of genres including historical drama as well as action and thrillers. Johansson was the child of a film producer as well as an architect. The family is from New York City. Her twin brother Hunter were the youngest siblings of four. When she was a child she discovered a love for performing and started making commercial auditions around the age of seven. She enrolled in the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute shortly after, and later attended the Professional Children's School, Manhattan for further training. In her early years she appeared in Sophistry with Ethan Hawke and made her movie debut at Rob Reiner's North at the time of 1994. Johansson subsequently starred in Just Cause (1995), however, her breakthrough was in the form of Manny & Lo a coming of age movie about two sisters fleeing. For The Horse Whisperer, Johansson played a teenage victim of a horrific accident. The role she played in Ghost World brought her more recognition as the troubled teenager Rebecca. She has given stunning performances in shows like Wildflower. Renee Felice Smith began her journey into the entertainment industry at an early age. As a child she was attracted to performing. Smith was offered her first acting gig in the age of 6 with her parents' encouragement. She created a commercial with Dannon. Like the majority of actresses just getting started, to improve her abilities in the theatre. Additionally, she was involved in various initiatives across the USA and Canada, but Wildflower was her first stage show. She studied at the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
